Miscast of a xhosa man

This piece was inspired by the process Xhosa boys under go to get initiated in to manhood. After initiation boys who have been initiated to manhood wear clothing like Hats,suits and ties to indicate that they are now man even the behaviour changes as he now becomes the shield of his family.

Head sculpture of my grandfather

This is a head sulpture of my grandfather from my maternal side i sculpted his face to honor him for his love,kindness and teachings he has passed on to me and him for playing a role of not just being a grandfather to me but a dad in this journey called life. Metal used for this piece is gilding metal.

wax cow sculpture prototype inspired by cows from the masai's tribe.

It is thought that in Maasai traditional society, cattle serve as the basic unit of exchange. Families seek to accumulate large herds to demonstrate their wealth and status.
